D'Orsay cruised to a world-record-equaling 1:51.4 win in the Ima Lula Series final at the Meadowlands.

D'Orsay equals world record in Ima Lula
D�Orsay and driver Corey Callahan took the lead after the halfway point and cruised to a world-record-equaling 1:51.4 win in Saturday�s $55,000 Ima Lula Series final for older female trotters at the Meadowlands.
Personal Style, last year�s Hambletonian Oaks winner, finished second while Check Me Out was third. Maven, the 9-5 favorite, was fourth.
Check Me Out went off stride on the backstretch, but rallied to hit the board. She withstood a judges� inquiry to keep the spot, unlike a year ago when she was third-placed-eighth after going off stride in the Hambletonian Oaks.
The winning time equaled the world record for a 4-year-old mare trotter. The mark was previously shared by Beat The Wheel, Peaceful Way and Queen Serene.
D�Orsay has won three of eight races and $52,678 this year for trainer Jonas Czernyson and owner Consus Racing Stable. The 4-year-old Yankee Glide-Danae mare has won six of 40 career starts.
Sent off at 17-1, D�Orsay paid $36.60 to win.
