Chapter Seven overwhelmed five rivals to win the $44,025 Matron Two-Year-Old Preview with a 1:55 performance in one of five contests at Dover Downs on Saturday.

Hall of Famer Mike Lachance steered Chapter Seven, the freshman son of ill-fated Windsongs Legacy-La Riviera Lindy trained by Linda Toscano, to his sixth win in seven starts this season lifting his earnings to $145,525 for suburban Philadelphia owners Richard Gutnick and Gary Cocco.
