Saturday’s €77,000 purse GP Regione Campania, over 1600 meters autostart for harness racing four year-olds, went to Totoo del Ronco (4m Ganymede-Magic Vision LF-Uronometro) with Mario Minopli Jr. aboard and timed in 1.12.3kr. Tulum (4m Algiers Hall-Image OM-Lemon Dra) landed second for Mass. Castaldo with third to Talabarteria (4f Love You-Claire Barb-Yankee Glide).

The Italy vs. USA competition continued on the card with the €5,500 purse, 1600 meter autostart, contest going to Tano (4m Irrestible-La Carela-Buvetier d’Aunou) with Ciro Ciccarelli up. Tabuz was second for Vincenzo D’Alessandro with the next two spots to Tesio Trgf and Mike Mitchell aboard, and fourth to Steve Oldford driving Tortorella Jet. This event was clocked in 1.16.9kr.

The final Friendship Competition event is set for Sunday, Lotteria Day, the 67th edition of the Gr. I classic.
