CLASSIC LANE EXTENDS STREAK TO FOUR IN PERRETTI MATCHMAKER
Classic Lane and driver Mike Lachance never saw the pylons en route to an impressive 1:52 victory in the $100,000 Perretti Farms Matchmaker for trotting mares Sunday afternoon at the Meadowlands
 Classic Lane worked her way up the outer tier as 1-5 favorite Buck I St Pat took command from Lantern Kronos after a 54.4 first half.  Classic Lane [$24.80, $9.20, $10.20] easily powered past Buck I St Pat at the head of the stretch and held off Stage Show [$23.20, $25.80] by a head.  Up Front Hotsey [$47.60] rallied off a ground saving journey for third.  Classic Lane's clocking was one-fifth of a second off the 1:51.4 track and world record for a trotting mare shared by Queen Serene (2008), Peaceful Way (2005) and Beat The Wheel (1994).
�She didn�t have much gate speed,� Lachance said.  �By the time Buck I St Pat got to the lead it was way past the half, so I just had no other choice but to grind on the outside.  She�s at her best doing that, using her grinding speed.  The filly is awfully sharp right now.  She�s at the top of her game.  In the last turn, I knew I was going to get by Buck I St Pat.   I thought I could get beat by someone else with an easy trip, but she held on.  That was an awfully big mile, 1:52 flat, and she never saw the rail.  She�s got a nice gait and she�s such a big, powerful mare.  There�s a lot to her.�
It was the fourth straight win for Classic Lane, a 4-year-old daughter of Lindy Lane-Heartland Classic.  The Ed Lohmeyer trainee won the $314,862 Classic Series Final on June 13 at Mohawk.  Lifetime, Classic Lane has won 13 of 30 starts and $545,945 for Robert and Lauren Tucker of Glen Gardner, NJ.
In addition to the $50,000 winner�s share of the purse, Classic Lane earned a free breeding to one of the elite stallions at Perretti Farms in Cream Ridge, NJ

I dagens lopp 3 vann 3-�rige Cruisealong (e Cantab Hall - Glide Path) p� tiden 12,2 efter att tagit ledningen efter 400 meter och sedan aldrig var hotat n�gon g�ng. Trea h�r blev Jan Johnson och Broadwind (e Broadway Hall) p� tiden 13,0. Anette Lorentzons Rox No Salt med kusken Tim Tetrick blev trea fr�n slutet p� tiden 14,0 efter en inledande galopp. Norske Oyvind Hegdals tr�ning Monsieur De Vie var fyra med John Campbell i sulkyn p� tiden 13,1.
I lopp 4 var Jimmy Takters toppstammade 3-�riga sto Birdsong Hanover (e Windsong`s Legacy - Beat The Wheel) knappt slagen tv�a p� tiden 12,7 med David Miller i sulkyn, vann gjorde Valeris (e Sj`s Caviar - Tasha Yar) p� samma tid 12,7 och h�r k�rde Jacqueline Ingrassia.  Fyra var Staffan Linds Celebrity Blueyes p� tiden 13,5 f�r kusken George Brennan.  Jan Johnson och hans Tresbien Volo slutade sjua och utan pengar p� tiden 16,9 efter en stor galopp. Oyvind Hegdals 3-�riga sto So You De Vie (e Yankee Glide - Only Dreaming) slutade trea f�r Ron Pierce p� tiden 12,7. Trond Smedshammer och Be My Baby slutade sexa p� tiden 15,1 efter galopp.
Menhammar Stuteri fick en uppf�dare seger denna dag d� 6-�rige valacken Quantum King Crab (e Banker Hall - Langouste) vann dagens sjunde lopp p�  tiden 12,1 f�r kusken Brian Sears.
I dagens lopp 8 vann 3-�rige valacken Fool`s Revenue (e Revenue S - Quit Foolin Around) �verl�gset p� tiden 11,0 f�r kusken John Campbell.  Tv�a slutade Trond Smedshammers tr�nade Scotch And Caviar (e Sj`s Caviar - Dalwhinnie) p� tiden 11,6 f�r Brian Sears och trea blev Marcus Johansson och Road Rash (e Broadway Hall - Customary Logo) p� tiden 11,6. S�mre gick det f�r Caviar Volo och Jan Johnson som slutade oplacerade p� tiden 12,8 och Jonas Czernyson tr�nade Hot Shot Blue Chip galopperade efter ca 300 meter men gick v�ldigt bra efter galoppen  men slutade sist p� tiden 14,3 efter en lika snabb avslutning sista 400 meterna som vinnaren.
